Question Description

Police and their response to societal problems can be complicated. The media, politicians, and community groups tend to make this a black vs. white issue, or hispanic vs white issue, or etc…………. All races and genders are police officers. All races and genders are clients the police respond to. So it is more of a righteous authority vs. societal failures. I have seen the richest families have the most dysfunctional kids. I have seen the most poor in society become the most righteous people (Dr. Ben Carson). So it is not race or class that will tell whether or not you will be a frequent client of policing. What do you think it is? How do the police appropriately respond to it?
